2026 + the energy.
So how are we feeling stepping into January 2026?
For the most part we have a feeling that there's something different about this year besides the fact that it is a one year so that is a powerful year for many. It's also the year of the fire horse which is really interesting. This will be a year of gaining momentum and there will be a few that will be galloping off like the gates have been left open (of course horse analogy insert here!). Yikes!
Take a moment to take that in and work out whether you're the one thinking I'm excited, or whether you are feeling a bit scared. Perfectly okay to sit with the feeling. Something I love to encourage others to do and something that I do myself is to take a moment during the month of January to connect with the energy of the new year.
Take out your journal.
You can include things that are important to you that you can put beside you. For some this can be crystals, jewellery, art, flowers, pictures of loved ones, anything that you find important. This ritual I like to change up each year and something that honours the energy of the essence of the new year, to create a space that you dedicate to connect you to the incoming energy. What I suggest is get yourself a tray or a bowl and pop in this what resonates for you right now. Throughout the year you can change some things and take things away just whatever you feel, it's just honouring the energy that you feel is right for you.
I will often place this on a side table or just anywhere that I might walk past each day. This honours the intention of bringing through a positive and welcoming vibe to your new year. It's also not too late to have your vision board updated and revised for the coming year.
You see, intention is all about letting the universe know what it is you want to bring into your life. Some of these things might take longer than this coming year but by placing them as important pieces of your puzzle moving forward, it allows you to be clear on what it is you want to attract.
Often, when I do readings for people that are after changing something within their life or wanting to bring new things into their life I'm often shown that we aren't being clear. This can appear in the way that you tend to be changing your mind all the time, maybe you have a belief that you don't deserve to attract what you want, maybe what you put out there as your next step is too far ahead for where you're at this point in time. That's all okay but we want to be clear. We want to know that we share information so that the universe can say I understand what is being asked and that your spirit team can say I get what you want. We don't want confusion when it comes to bringing into our life what it is that brings us Joy.
Another thing to remember is don't forget we often carry the same story for a long time even when out growing it. This is something that often comes up when I'm connecting for people within a psychic reading that they are still connected to the old story. For example the old story might have been the big picture was working hard to create a beautiful family home and enjoying that and feeling that because of this you need to stay where you are, but an idea to help change that is to downsize and change location and focus on enjoying all of the things that you choose to bring in within your life. Don't be a slave to a location or a worn out relationship. You have choices you're never stuck . Life is working with you not against you but please remember to choose you as number one.
No one else can do that for you.
We only have to be reminded by a loved ones that we've lost over the years. Tomorrow is never promised, we never know when it's our time to return home, we can't take things with us, but we can take memories, fun and everything we've learned in this lifetime. Again, take a moment to digest these words.
They are important.
I'm reminded every day that I do readings for people when their loved ones come through. They don't focus on what they owned, they focus on the memories and the fun times that they had. So please take this as a sign don't put off today what you can do because tomorrow is never promised.
You are always guided and you will be ok.
Remember that.
